Retreats in Assisi, Italy

Our Assisi retreats provide the experience of being in a world pilgrimage site while diving more deeply into one’s own connection with the Great Song.

A typical retreat day includes contemplation
and meditation, group activities including skill building,
creative exploration and singing, along with time for
reflection and relaxation. Included throughout the week
are visits to key sites from the lives of Francis and Clare.

Retreats are held in a convent overlooking the
Basilica di Francesco and the hills of Perugia.
Room accommodations are comfortable,
each with private bathroom.
Private rooms upon request (as available).
Delicious Italian food is lovingly prepared by the Sisters,
who share their private meditation garden with us.

Song Sanctuary retreats facilitated by Song Without Borders co-founders Michael Stillwater and Doris Laesser Stillwater, administered through Inner Harmony. Art of Presence retreats facilitated by Michael and Doris together with Dr. Christina Puchalski and Edward O’Donnell, administered through George Washington Institute of Spirituality and Health.
